To promote outstanding attendance, St Michael’s CE Primary School has a number initiatives and celebrations throughout the year.
Please remember to contact the school office should your child not be at school, this helps us to continue to safeguard your child. Mrs Robinson, our pupil liaison manager, is also contactable through Class Dojo.
Class attendance is tracked weekly and a certificate given to the class with the best attendance during celebration assembly. In Key Stage 2, the class with the highest attendance for the week also receives a trophy, in Key Stage 1 and EYFS they receive the ‘attendance bear’.
We also give out individual attendance certificates every term for those children who have been to school every day and therefore have 100% attendance.
At the end of the year, we have an attendance shop available to all children. There are different options depending on the child’s attendance.
