Developing Excellence
At St Michael’s, we believe in ensuring excellence every day, in every way.
To achieve this, we outline a number of priorities that will develop school and refine its performance to achieve continued and sustained improvement. The Developing Excellence Plan below maps out our strategic plans for school improvement.
In brief, our Developing Excellence Priorities for the year 2023-24 are:

To further improve and sharpen the implementation of the planned curriculum, so that the curriculum leads to the impact on attainment and progress intended for all pupils, including vulnerable pupils.

To re-connect and re-establish consistent routines and behaviour management of children, through the consistent implementation of proactive behaviour strategies, with children showing highly positive attitudes to school life and their learning; including attending school regularly and punctually.

To improve provision and offer for our most vulnerable children, including those that do not yet attend, to ensure no child is left behind or lost in the averages and staff are highly skilled in supporting them.
