Our Church

Our Church

At Rossington St Michael’s, we are incredibly fortunate to have a strong and meaningful partnership with our church. This connection is at the heart of our school’s ethos, enriching the spiritual lives of our pupils and strengthening our sense of community.

Each Wednesday, the children attend uplifting and engaging services led by church leaders and members of our Governing Body. These weekly gatherings are a cherished opportunity for reflection, celebration and learning. They are an opportunity to instill a sense of belonging and shared purpose. Throughout the year, we are also warmly welcomed to Church to participate in special services that mark key moments in the Christian calendar.

Our pupils thoroughly enjoy their visits to the church, embracing these experiences as an integral part of their spiritual and moral development. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the church leaders and volunteers who dedicate their time and effort to making these moments so memorable.

Prayer to St. Michael

O glorious prince St. Michael,
chief and commander of the heavenly hosts,
guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits,
servant in the house of the Divine King
and our admirable conductor,
you who shine with excellence
and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil,
who turn to you with confidence
and enable us by your gracious protection
to serve God more and more faithfully every day.
