Worship Council

 

Our worship council work closely with the SLT, of Rossington St Michael’s CE Primary School, to ensure that all children feel welcomed, accepted and loved.

Our worship council includes our year 6 prayer leaders and pupils chosen from our year 6 classes.  Because we are a church school, we want to help everyone to enjoy worshipping God.

This is what we do:

• Help to lead worship.
• Discuss worship and how it can be even better.
• Help choose worship songs.
• Have ideas for prayers.
• Think and talk about the vision of our school and how it can be further improved.
• Look for children who are demonstrating the Christian value we are focussing on.

 

Every half term, we hold a worship for our parent community at St Michael’s Church. Here the Worship Council share prayers and open the worship.
