Year 6 Visit Crucial Crew
On Monday 17th April, Year 6 went on a school visit to Crucial Crew. Crucial Crew is an interactive, film set style, educational experience which aims to give young people the tools to be safe in making sensible decisions whilst in the community. The children enjoyed a carousel of activities which included: hate crime and recognising the signs of this; using public transport in a safe and responsible manner; county lines and Child Criminal Exploitation workshop; a mockup of a magistrates court with a real magistrate; road safety experience and using crossings; water safety; arson; and fire safety.
The children had a brilliant time and thoroughly enjoyed all the experiences and came away having learnt a lot about keeping safe in the community.
